Earthmover was created using a piece of Bristol paper, two Micron pens, and two of my own personal stock/texture images. I used no references for this piece, which proved exceedingly difficult. I’ve always been extremely opposed to drawing earth, rock, trees, etc. but once I broke though the wall of that aversion I discovered I actually quite enjoy it, and can honestly say this is my favorite piece I’ve ever done.

The inspiration for this piece partially came from the JK Flesh track I named it after: “Earthmover” from Justin Broadrick’s album Posthuman.

This is fantastic! I think I see a face in the earth itself, towards the right. Really beautiful, and 'moving' as you put it. I most love the dangling feathers and the earth breaking off at the edge. Beautiful texture as well!
